We attended a good friend’s wedding the weekend after the 4th, and it was such a fun event! The weather was perfect, and the beautiful, bright colored flowers were one of my all-time favorite bouquet designs.
It was a wonderful ceremony, and we were so happy to be able to be a part of that day. There was also, of course, quite a bit of dancing and fun to be had at the reception too.
We had a great Fourth of July in Michigan with Dan’s parents. I especially loved watching the fireworks on the water!
With a little bit of luck, I won two tickets to the 2011 Zoobilation from Pizzology (amazing pizza place in Carmel)! Zoobilation is the largest fundraiser for the Indianapolis Zoo. Hundreds of people in their best formal attire have the run of the entire zoo with over 70 of Indy’s best restaurants providing their most delicious dishes and open bars all over the place. We really enjoyed ourselves, especially riding the roller coaster and visiting with the tigers in their new exhibit.
All-in-all it was an amazing event, and I hope we’ll be able to go again sometime in the future.
